PROCESSING TIME FOR ORDERS

We make all of our caramels and confections fresh for each order.  Order fulfillment can require up to 4 business days depending on the product you are ordering and our production schedule. If you are ordering apparel or other non-perishable items, you can expect that orders will ship out the next business day, as we almost always have those in immediate stock. 

However, if you are ordering caramels and other confections, please be aware that it can take us anywhere between 1-4 business days to produce these products PRIOR TO SHIPPING. When you select a "shipping option" you are merely selecting the transit time, not total production plus transit time, taking between 4 to 6 days to receive.

DELIVERY OPTIONS

We ship with primarily using USPS.  However, our services also include FedEx and UPS. Transit times vary depending on destination. Standard deliveries are only made on weekdays.

We also provide local deliveries within 25 miles of zip code 12553.  

RESTRICTIONS

Please note that we cannot ship to P.O. Boxes if you select a 2-Day shipping option via FedEX or UPS. You must provide a street address for your order. Be sure to include appropriate suite or apartment numbers when necessary to ensure proper delivery.
 

Shipping Policy

Returns 
We have a 30 day return policy. After the 30 days, unfortunately we can't offer you a refund or exchange.


To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. 

Handcrafted confections are made to order and are exempt from being returned.  Gift cards are also exempt from being returned.  

 

We will replace any item that arrives damaged as long as we are notified immediately upon receipt.

We accept returns on non-perishable items such as towels or apparel within 30 days of your order.  These items must be in their original packaging and undamaged. 

Refunds (if applicable) 
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. 


If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days. 

 

Late or missing refunds (if applicable) 
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.  Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. 


Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. 
If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at customerservice@dowesweetstudio.com. 

Exchanges (if applicable) 
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at customerservice@dowesweetstudio.com and send your item to: Dowe Sweet Studio, 393 Mt Airy Rd, New Windsor, New York 12553.


Shipping 
To return your product, you should mail your product to: Dowe Sweet Studio, 393 Mt Airy Rd, New Windsor, New York 12554

You will be responsible for paying for the shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of the original shipping will be deducted from your refund.
