How long do the caramels stay fresh?

Caramels are best when eaten fresh.  We do not use any artificial preservatives.   Store keep it in a cool, dry place and enjoy it within 2-3 weeks. Eating caramels beyond peak freshness is fine, but the texture of the caramels will not be as they are when fresh.

How do I store the caramel?

We recommend storing caramels in a cool, dry place and you can also freeze any caramels that are not consumed within 2 weeks.

How many caramels are in each box?

Our hand-printed burlap bag comes with 16 pieces of caramels.

Are your caramels gluten-free?

Our caramels, brittle, and pate de fruit all are gluten-free.  However, we are not certified gluten-free as we do not cook in a gluten-free kitchen.

 

I live locally, can I pick up my caramels instead of getting them shipped?

Yes, you can.  Email us at customerservice@dowesweetstudio.com to place your order.

I just placed an order, when will it ship?

We typically ship within 4 to 7 days of receiving your order. We ship our orders using priority mail.  Depending on where you live in the U.S. delivery takes 2-4 business days. All caramels are shipped from New York.

I did not receive a tracking number, how do I get one?

You should receive a tracking number once your order has shipped. If you didn't you can request one by emailing us at customerservice@dowesweetstudio.com

Unfortunately, we do not currently offer international shipping.
